Globalisation

LO wishes to see Denmark become a driving force in terms of meeting the challenges of globalisation. Through conscious political choices and trade union strategies in five crucial areas, the Danish society is to be a driving force paving the way for a positive handling of globalisation, both nationally and internationally.

LO's globalisation strategy
LO has prepared a proposal for a responsible globalisation strategy entitled, "Denmark in a globalised world".
With this proposal, LO suggests what Denmark and the central players can do, both at the national level and at the global level. The underlying concept of the strategy is that global responsibility and long-term sustainable competitiveness are closely connected.

Denmark and the global labour market
LO has also prepared a report on Denmark and the global labour market. The report, which is based on international and national reports, documentation and statistical data clarifies developments and main trends in the global labour market compared to the Danish one.
